Green Mountain Campground

Located southeast of Jeffery City along Highway 287 (map here), Green Mountain Picnic Area is a real gem and one of the finest established camping areas in Fremont County. In the summer, beat the heat under the trees while enjoying the alpine breeze. In the fall, the golden aspens and bugling elk make for a truly Wyoming experience.
